Intensive Moscow's Attacks Eliminate Power Across Ukraine's Capital

Power facilities targeted in Ukraine
The country's energy systems have come under increased attacks in recent weeks

Throughout the evening, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have led to electricity outages in multiple districts of the capital city, Kyiv.

Several individuals were injured while local people in the city's east were plunged into darkness and dealt with problems to water systems, according to local authorities.

Meanwhile, a young boy was fatally injured in a separate assault in the southeastern region in the southern area, as reported by local officials.

Moscow has escalated attacks on energy facilities over the past few days, while officials has called for "substantial measures" from partner nations to exert influence on Russia.

"The necessity is not window dressing but firm measures - from the America, the EU and the Group of Seven - in providing air defence systems and enforcing penalties," mentioned in a online statement.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and over thirty rockets struck energy facilities, describing such strikes as "cynical and calculated" and against "essential services" as temperatures become colder.

The energy minister said Moscow was "launching a major assault" and maintenance teams were striving to fix the damage.

A barrage of missiles damaged energy infrastructure and civilian homes in Kyiv.

Multiple people wounded in the attacks on the city have been hospitalized, according to municipal representatives.

Regional authorities said the city endured intense attacks throughout the evening. A minor lost their life and several individuals were wounded.

The assaults come after nights of aerial attacks in the territory, parts of which are occupied by invading troops.

The whole nation is on alert for advanced weapon attacks, which are tougher to identify.

Authorities told reporters that Russia was intentionally trying to demolish the country's energy grid, with strikes already affecting energy systems.

He said technical personnel and government agencies were bracing for more assaults.
